Oracle8i在P4上的安装

正在看的ORACLE教程是:Oracle8i在P4上的安装。方法一:

1、将ORACLE软件拷贝到硬盘。
2、将硬盘目录文件stageComponentsoracle.swd.jre1.1.7.30/1
DataFilesExpandedjrewin32binsymcjit.dll的文件改名为
symcjit.old
3.从installwin32目录下运行SETUP.exe文件进行安装。

前提是：机器上没有装过Oracle产品。如有的话请先卸载，再将注册表中Oracle项删除。


方法二、（此方法斑竹成功安装，但较麻烦,方法的核心是加-nojit)

*Changethe"JRE_LOCATION"linetousethefullpathtotheCDinsteadofa
relativepath.(i.e.,
JRE_LOCATION=f:stageComponentsoracleswdjre1.1.71DataFilesExpanded)

*Changethe"OUI_LOCATION"linetousethefullpathtotheCDinsteadofa
relativepath.(i.e.,
OUI_LOCATION=f:stageComponentsoracleswdoui1.6.0.9.01DataFilesExpanded

*Changethe"JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS"linetoadd"-nojit"asthefirstargument.
(i.e.,JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=-nojit-ms16m-mx32m)

c.Launchsetup.exefromthetemporarylocationonyourharddrive(i.e.
e:tempinstallwin32setup.exe).Thiswillusethemodified
oraparam.iniandpickuptheinformationfromtheCDsincetheabsolute
locationsarespecified.

ChooseaCustominstallandchoosenottocreateadatabaseduringthe
install.Thisway,theDatabaseConfigurationAssistantwillnotbelaunched
duringinstallation.

TheNet8ConfigurationAssistantwillstillbelaunched,andthereisnoway
tosuppressit.YouwillneedtokilltheNet8ConfigurationAssistantifit
hangsduetothebug.Theinstallationstillwillhavebeensuccessful,and
youcanruntheDBCAandNetCAafterinstallation.

TokillNetCAifithangsduringinstallation:
Inthe"ConfigurationTools"window,highlightthe"Net8Configuration
Assistant"andclick"Stop".Ifthatdoesnotwork,lookforthemostrecent
JREprocessusingtheTaskManager,andkillitmanually.NOTE:theOUI
itselfwillalsohaveajreprocess.Besuretokilltheonewiththemost
recentdate,whichshouldbethejreprocessbeingusedforNet8CA,notthe
oneforOUIitself.

Afterkillingtheconfigurationtoolsandcontinuingthroughtheinstallation
tothe"EndofInstallation"screen,youshouldmodifytheconfigurationtools
touse"-nojit",thencalltheappropriatetoolsfromtheStartMenu.

Onceinstallationiscomplete,eachofthefollowingfilesintheORACLE_HOME
needstobemodified:
