Hello Jerry,

Hope you are doing great. I’ve been following your blog posts(https://people.sap.com/jerry.wang) regularly and I am really glad to be in touch with you.

Since we are from the application side, we do not have much permission to experiment with RSTPDAMAIN(The debugger program).

So we thought of creating our own small ABAP EDITOR (few editor sample codes are copied and we have a custom editor now) and a small debugger so that we can do experiments with it.
Somehow I have copied the RSTPDAMAIN to a local Z Program and now I wish to attach this with my editor.

I understand that you are busy there but I will be grateful if you could manage to find little time to help us in the following.

• How to attach my custom debugger to my custom editor?
• How to include a new desktop (like desktop 1, 2,3 standard… a new tabstrip) in the debugger ? Any enhancement or extension option is available in standard debugger?
• The tables on which the standard Object and its code (both byte code and the xstring) saved? In other words, the tables involved during saving/generation of an abap object in SE38 Editor.
